Accomplishment. Achievement. Attainment. These words live in the minds of women entrepreneurs.

Like a house, there is always something that you have to do to maintain its excellent condition. Apply this same theory to the life of an entrepreneur and success will never elude you.

Every time I blink my eye it seems I am being presented with new creative ideas to bless my audience.

Awe-inspiring, my authentic concepts have the power to bless someone somewhere and that blesses me.

I’ve learned to speak with authority. This same authority has taught me how to be courageous. My courage has blessed me bountifully and the blessings are plentiful.  

God Will Never Leave You Ever

Because you are dedicated to doing God’s will, He provides you with everything that you need to run a highly successful business.

Of course you may get stuck at times during the process of trying to attain your goals. Don’t give up because I know that God will never leave you nor forsake you. You have to keep pushing, but this is how you shall be able to complete your projects which should be in a timely and professional manner.

When I find myself stuck in achieving my goals this is what I do.

First, I pray and ask the Holy Spirit to assist me in getting my goals accomplished.

Second, I walk away and sit until I hear the voice of God’s Holy Spirit speak to my heart.

Because without him, I cannot do anything.

Having faith in God to lead, guide and instruct you on your entrepreneurial expedition is an exceptional way to grow your business.

Faithful, fruitful and flourishing in business is you, God’s Virtuous Women Entrepreneurs.

Faithful, that is who God is and He is faithful to us.

I want to ask you a question. How faithful are you when it comes to managing and running your business?

There have been too many times that I have not been faithful and true to myself, let alone my businesses.

Consistency eluded me and I was going from one path to another to find myself.

I was literally wearing myself out and this was getting me nowhere. I was spending more time wasting time.

Tired of going around the cul-de-sac, I changed my mindset, refreshed and revamped my businesses. I did this over and over again.

Yes, I was quickly wearing myself out even though I knew I had the knowledge and understanding to propel my babies to unlimited success.

After having a long talk with myself and my heart I decided to deepen my faith in God. Jesus said have faith in God. And so I chose to heed His word and go deeper into God’s word in order to help me to completely understand what having faith would do.

Flourishing and Proficient in Business

Faithful, Fruitful and Flourishing In Business

Well, I did that and now I believe in myself more than ever before. My businesses no longer suffer from my lack of faith.

My businesses are now flourishing, fruitful and absolutely phenomenal because of my faith.

Where is your faith amazing women in business.

Are you enjoying the fruits of your labor or do you continue to be stuck since the first day you launched your business?

If you are, I would suggest that you go back into your heart and search for the roots where your faith has taken hold. If your faith is not where you want it to be, speak to your heart and begin to deepen your faith in God by delving deep into His everlasting word.

It is going to change the way you look at and do business from this moment forward.

How To Start A Life-Changing Business

How to start a life-changing business is super easy when you have the right tools. Before starting any business you need faith, your gifts, talents and skill set. Of course you need other things and we will dig deeper throughout this post.

If you want to be a successful woman entrepreneur now is the most perfect time for you to share your gifts with the world.

Starting a business is easy, but starting a life-changing business is, well, life-changing.

When I started Moms in Slippers in 2002, it was really easy.  Easy because I incorporated my talent and my skill set into building it. 

I typed quickly and accurately.  The competition wasn’t as it is now.  I remember starting my typing/secretarial business and opening the doors in anticipation to building a highly successful empire, but owning a typing business does not equate to building an empire. Or so I thought.  And now looking back, if I knew then what I know now, I could have added a bevy of services to Magic Fingers Secretarial Services. 

For instance, I am now proficient in WordPress and I love it using it as my platform for most of my blogs and websites.  It can be difficult to learn, but it’s super easy to navigate once you’ve mastered it.  It is then that you look back and say to yourself, wow, how easy was this!

Also, when I was typing for various companies and business owners, I had the knowledge to grow my typing business with my graphic design skills.  Over the years I’ve learned so much from myself and from the world around me.

When you have made up your mind to start your own business you need a pen and pad to write out all of your business plans.  This will be the guide to help you to navigate as you take the steps to building up a highly profitable and greatly successful business.  A business that will give you the ability to make a lot of money.  Don’t ever be ashamed to say that you want to make money.  I used to be so ashamed to admit I was in business to make money.  This was an enormous downfall for me, but now I’m soaring beyond mountains equipped with the power to always grown my bank account as I work towards consistently growing every one of my businesses.  I enjoy working all of the businesses under the umbrella I created with God’s help.

Let us delve into how you’re going to start, build, grow and manage your business.

First, let’s start with this question.  Please have a clean document on your computer or a pen and journal/pad in your lap, desk or in your hands. 

  1. What special gift(s) do you possess? Is there passion attached to your gift?
  2.  What is your unique skill set?
  3.  What one dream has consumed you so much so that you cannot stop dreaming/thinking about it no matter what you are doing?
  4. Have you ever used your special gifts to help someone else and now you’re asking yourself how you can possibly start your own business with this gift that is exclusive to you? Exclusive to you because you have a long list that keeps growing and you know you need to do something with it.
  5.  Does, what you truly believe, is your God-given gift resonate with your spirit?

Please be completely honest in your answers.  These questions will be your compass to lead and guide you with a strong commitment and promise to yourself as you now, right now, work towards achieving your goals. 

Once, you’ve answered the above questions to your honest ability, we can begin laying the steps to the foundation for your business. Take all the time you need.  This is your business which means this involves your life.  It’s an exciting time so take your time.  There’s is never a need to rush.  When we rush, we make mistakes. 

Your Name Brand

Okay, you’ve taken all the time you need to answer the business success building questions.  You know and understand your gifts and now you need a phenomenal name for your business.  Some call it a domain name and I call it YOUR NAME BRAND.

When I founded my businesses, my name brands were given to me in ways no one could have ever imagined.  Each of my names came to me in ways that would guarantee my success (and if I did my part by being consistent and working my business like I loved my business).  Looking back on how my business names were presented to me along with God’s perfect timing, I have to tell you that I am in awe and now realize that they all came from the Holy Spirit.

For example; the name Magic Fingers came from my former boss at my last job as program coordinator.  He always called me Magic Fingers.  A few of my other business names came from me talking to my husband when the Holy Spirit entered into our conversation and gave me the business concept, model and name. I am still amazed and still working to incorporate each business under Cynthia G. Boyer.  I finally learned that the best way for me to build and prosper my brand was to put everything that I was doing under one big colorful umbrella and because they are all relative it just works and makes sense.

Show you the way to go. It’s the title of an amazing song and sprinkles for life.

Reading and writing; wisdom and knowledge; power and fulfillment all equal
EDUCATION.

Many of our sons, our youth and young men love the game of basketball. I
must say, like a lot of things, the game of b-ball has come a long way –
always exciting with plenty of thrills, the NBA stars consistently
demonstrate their skills on the parkay floors—from dunks to fancy
moves—these stars love the game as much as the fans love the game. Many of
our youth honestly believe that basketball is a way out of a tough
situation simply because of the money it offers and the opportunities it
provides, but because the standards of the NBA are so high, it seems almost
nearly impossible for even a great player to make it into this dream of an
organization.

Hope, dedication, hard work and commitment simply are not enough for one to
make it into this phenomenal one-of-a-kind league. Though many have had and
those that continue to play enjoy enormous and great success as they wow
and thrill the fans in every game they play. These skilled, talented and
seasoned basketball players bring a certain ambiance to the game; but we
cannot forget to give recognition to the players that come off the bench to
fill in where the “stars” have left their expertise in the high score of
the game; they, too, are just as important to the team as are the stars of
the team. They, too, deserve to be given an opportunity to display their
creativity, to become better players and to have the chance to improve
their games simply by playing the game.

The game of basketball is exciting, entertaining and fun to watch; playing
it is the same….

Like life, basketball can be fun, exciting, entertaining, fulfilling and
rewarding. Going to school can have the same affect; rewarding, fulfilling,
fun and exciting.

When you go to school, be it elementary, middle, high school or college, it
is important to go the extra mile, work as hard as it takes to make and
maintain good grades so that you can obtain all the wisdom and knowledge
available to you as a student. Wisdom and knowledge are two key ingredients
necessary in and throughout your life. These two ingredients will help to
build a rock solid foundation for you and your future.

Education is a tool that will enlighten almost every area of your life.
Education will empower you; it will encourage and motivate you to go the
extra 100 miles that promises to equip you with the skills and abilities to
fulfill your dreams and your goals.

If you work hard, form good study habits, commit yourself to the time
needed to study for that next test of writing an essay or multiple choice,
you are guaranteed to get the highest form of an A possible that will
motivate you to continue on the path of doing your very best in every
subject in school, even in your weakest subject.

During your junior year of high school, it is time to start preparing for
college; taking the SATs is an extremely important part of that process.

Your grades, along with your SATs scores will tell the college admissions
board just some information about you as a student, but it won’t tell all
because it is impossible to know what you are capable of just by reading
test scores. Your personal statement and resume will help to serve as a
forum of much needed information when it comes to determining whether or
not you will be admitted to the colleges you have applied to. You already
know how committed you are and just how hard you’re willing to continue to
work; all you’re asking for is an opportunity to show the schools that yes,
you are an intelligent individual because you realize that it is going to
take hard work, commitment and with all of the challenges awaiting you,
dedication; you are willing and prepared to dedicate yourself to YOUR
educational goals, again guiding and leading you to a bright future.

Education is important. The importance of it cannot be stressed enough.
Education will open doors for you; it will position you in a high position
in a promising career; it will take you to heights you never imagined;
education will show you the way to go!

So if the NBA awaits you, that’s great, but with a sound education, the
possibilities are endless. If you want to experience all that the world has
for you and the wonders in it, education will show you the way to go!

A whirlwind of a week

It was a whirlwind of a week, but I could not give up.

Good Evening Brilliant Ones,

I pray all is well and that your businesses are thriving and flourishing!

For those of you who are still thinking about whether you want to work at home for yourself, now would be a good time to get the wheels turning.

Although you maybe a little nervous or just down right afraid of starting this work at home journey, I want to encourage you to get started.

It’s really easy once you’ve made up your mind. When you use the gifts God has given you your life changes in an amazing way. So go on and get started. If you need help, let the Holy Spirit guide you.

Get Wisdom and Understanding

As for me, it has been a whirlwind of a week. There were challenges and obstacles at my every turn, but with God’s grace and mercy, I was able to press on.

I have decided to incorporate some new things into my business. I believe these new ventures will serve my customers well.

My intention is always to help make lives easier and happier.

It is my hope that your days are blessed and you are enjoying being your own boss.

This work from home thing is amazing when you’re changing lives and loving what you do.

Even though I had a whirlwind of a week I am thankful for the giants. I kept calm and I remained true to myself. I really don’t have a choice because I cannot see myself working for someone else.

And so I have to say that this day has been an eye-opener. I told myself to get wisdom and with all thy getting get understanding and guess what, I did just that.

I am blessed, highly favored and so very grateful.

Have you ever though about how to do amazing marketing that works to leverage your business?

All week I have been thinking of ways to do things a little differently in business.

So I asked myself, Self, how am I going to create and design new marketing campaigns to grow my business during this new season.

I found the answers in my business notebook. Highly creative ideas seem to flow to me to me quickly and easily when I trust the Holy Spirit to guide and instruct me in all that I do and say.

Wowwww, when I opened my notebook I was amazed at what I found.  I found a whole treasure of great marketing ideas. I said to myself, this is perfect! I do not have to reinvent the wheel. I am going to use the tools and resources from the abundance stored in my rich reservoir of gems and jewels.

Because I love to create and design anything that has the potential to help and bless others, all kinds of great and unique ideas come to me in the wee hours of the night. I love being awakened by the Holy Spirit to hear all that He wants to share me. 

Last year when I opened my business notebook, words came to me that allowed me to be highly creative in business. I had written some powerful marketing campaigns that would change the way I would do business forever.

The one marketing campaign that I am preparing to release out into the world of business is a business building tool that can help to prosper any entrepreneur.

How To Begin Your Unique Journey To Create Great Marketing Plans

I sit still and I talk to Holy Spirit. I ask Him to speak to my heart. I also ask Him to give me wisdom and clarity so that I can focus on the task ahead. I tell myself to have faith in God. This is super important.

Amazing marketing begins with you. It begins right where you are. You have to know your business.

Ask yourself, what does your business means to you. What is it that you want to give to your customers. How can you improve on your products and services. Here we go.

Use relevant words that describe your business. Find keywords that are relevant to your business.

Take great photos of your products and let those photos give you insight. Get excited knowing that you have the power, tools and resources right at your finger.

Speak to your heart and encourage yourself and then give God thanks for helping you to create and design amazing marketing plans that have long lasting impact and success.

Your brand is worthy to be recognized for the brilliant way you have built your empire. Your marketing strategy should reflect your brand.

You can do it. You just have to believe you can and you will.

Give yourself a nudge

Give yourself a nudge and awaken the entrepreneurial spirit in you!.

The other day I had an excellent conversation with my daughter that I’d like to share with you.  The reason I want to share our talk with you is because if you are thinking about starting your own business and you have doubts, perhaps this short reading will help you make up your mind.
 
Currently, my daughter works as an executive in the corporate offices at a prestigious hotel. She told me that the Lord is nudging her to start a business of her own.  She has yet to heed His call because she is a little hesitant. Even though she has started putting the pieces to her puzzle together with the help of the Holy Spirit, she has yet to turn in her LOR.
 
Why? Because of fear. Yes, my daughter is a little fearful of walking away from a career that has been a good part of her life for 6, soon to be 7 years.
 
I believe in my heart that my daughter is ready to be her own boss. She has everything she needs to start a flourishing business from the door, yes, at this very moment, but her heart must continue to guide her, not me. I can only offer words of advice as the Holy Spirit tells me to relay to her. She has to make the final decision for herself and as she is guided by the Holy Spirit, I know she will heed His call on her life at the perfect time.
 
When we decide to walk by faith and not by sight and we trust God, oh but God!
 
By slowly executing God’s plan for her life through her new website and podcast, Joy In The Journey, she is setting up herself for amazing success. Putting things in place for new beginnings is how she will start to eliminate fear one step at a time is some of the advice that I gave her.
 

Give Yourself A Nudge With Words of Encouragement!

So here’s how the rest of the conversation went between us. 
 
I told her to trust God first and foremost. It is essentially important that she understands that God is going to enable her and bless the works of her hands when she’s ready to become an entrepreneur.
 
I said, “Listen, Jenna, if you truly believe and feel, (you know that nudging that I talked about), that God is telling you to start your own business, you can best believe that God is going to guide you every step of the way.  Not only is He going to guide you, but He is going to introduce to you a team of awesome individuals who are going to help you to execute His plan for you”.  
 
God is going to bring the qualified along, with the anointed, to take your business to a level no other business has gone, which is fenced up to heaven. He’s already given her the tools, from birth, and the resources He has awaiting her, never-ending!
 
At the end of our conversing back and forth she agreed with me.
 
My daughter has made up her mind to do things decently and in order which to say, she will be staying in her current position for a moment. She is continuing to build her empire one brick at a time because she doesn’t want her dynasty to fall.
 
She is very careful to take her time to erect her building on a strong foundation of wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Success awaits my daughter and at the moment she is beginning to smell the roses.
 
As she heeds God’s every word and obeys His commandments she already knows that success is imminent. It is my prayer that my daughter will continue to be patient and where her business is concerned, well let’s just say she is wealthy. To God be all the glory.

My Amazing Entrepreneurial Expedition

My entrepreneurial journey has been an amazing expedition. And guess what. I am still exploring, discovering and finding gold.

While there are still many lessons to be learned my teachers are patient, loving and kind. With me, they know that they need the patience of Job. Not because I am difficult, but because I want to glean every piece of knowledge gifted to me. I appreciate the time they give me and for the wisdom and knowledge that has shaped my business.

Through it all I’ve been able to learn website building, SEO and when to create pages and posts on WordPress. For me writing content is queen and I’d like to think that I reign supreme. All that I have and continue to receive is not just for me, but for you.

I love passing on the empowering resources that can help every entrepreneur to be super successful in business. Why wouldn’t I give and share what could possibly be the greatest blessings for my sisters. It brings me immense joy.

Marketing Your Business For Success with Canva. As promised, here is the platform that I use to create stunning marketing campaigns.

Marketing Your Business For Success with Canva

Canva is free. It is a great design tool for business.

Let’s just right in and allow me give you, amazing women of God, a great tip. When you create your free account with Canva I suggest that you upgrade to a pro account not long after you’ve given Canva a try because you’ll have access to some great features that you can only get with a pro account, but it’s well worth it. 

Another tip I want to share with you is this. When you start to design in Canva you should make it your own. In other words, don’t use the exact template that they offer because others maybe using that same template. You’ll want to change the colors and wording, but not necessarily the layout of the template. This way you can be sure that your creation is original and unique.

I’ve been using Canva for years and recently I upgraded to pro and it has been amazing. You can make videos as well with Canva.

Check out Canva and see what you think.  At least try it and see if you like it. I think it will serve your business well and you will find that your marketing campaigns are going to help you to prosper in business.
